Ok this is fricken pissing me off. I will give all the credits i own currently if you can help me out here. So this is what's happening. I try to go to a website such as www.worldcybergames.com and it says Cannot connect to page or w/e. So i use proxify, or virtual-browser.com and viola! it works. so obviously the website is there, but for some stupid reason, It won't work for me. It is not possible for me to be IP-banned because I have never been able to actually visit the page myself. So there would be no reason that it would be blocking my ip.

Ok, one thing is your ISP could have blocked the site.

This happened with me before (Im on AOL in the UK). So all I did was restarted my router (so I got a new IP address) and it worked.

It might help ifyou tell us your ISP and also try phoning them and asking if they've blocked the site. Does your ISP have dynamic or static IP addresses?

If you have a router (and dynamic IP) restart that.

Tell me if any of those work :)

These are just guesses that make some sense to me:

    Spyware, Adware, WebBrowser.

I would try a different web browser (FireFox / Opera / Internet Explorer), I would try to get a good Adware remover such as "Adaware" and I would try to get a good spyware remover for example "Spyblaster." I hope this helps.

hmm that happened to me once

yesterday i was trying to go back to a site that i went on ealier and then it could not find it

    but i suggest FIREFIOX

if u have that I think u should just reset your pc

and or restart your router(if u have 1)

or maybe u dont have a fast connection and the site takes long

and mozilla says it takes 2 long to connect

    then just refresh the window

If you are not using Firefox try using that, also if you were IP banned from the actual site it wouldn't show a can not connect page. It would show a "YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED SUCKA"

If you know what ports your browser use you might have to unblock those if you are on wireless, and if you have a firewall on you might have accidentally blocked your browser from connecting to the internet

    My 2 cents

hmm do u have a zone labs firewall ?

or any zone lab software ?

becuase maybe zone labs is blocking it

zone labs security suite always blocks some sites form me

so i have to turn it off when i surf (which isnt the smartest)

I use Firefox and Internet explorer, both do not work. I have a Linksys router, and I have tried the computer directly connected to the router as well, and it does not work to acess these sites. I'll call up my ISP which is Cox Communications.
