and yea...with the other guy...people do need to add their own stuff into tuts, not just copying step for step.

Acid : hard to rate animation lol. umm 7/10 cuz it lags 56k users (im not 56k xD).

 

eh? Cause some ppl are on 56k lowers the rating? 7/10 is fine.. I just don't think that's a justifiable reason..

So let's say I go back to my poor 14.4k modem connecting at like 2k per sec.. so your beautiful sigs would go from a 9/10 to a 6.5/10 cause it "takes too long for me to download"...

For animation, things you can look for I'd say are:
-Do the sprites fit well with the background or do they stick out like a sore thumb
-Is the animation smooth when it plays? (IE sucks)
-Is anything jerky or out of place?
-Does some part play too slow, too fast or take too long to get from part a to part b?
-Is the long animation well executed or is it something too short and too basic? (ie- gradient shine, 1 layer moving, fading)
-Compare it to other samples ppl have made to see the difference o_0
