isnt the x1800gto expected to be released on agp. the x1800xl already is, very hard to find though.

Isn't the x850 XT PE better than the 7800 GS Superclocked version in some games but I'd say those 2 cards are about equal in performance and price.

 

the n410 chipset used in cards with int 6100 GFX is ----. I have a motherboard with that chipset and I am thoroughly disappointed with how f'ing crappy it is. just sell your crappy card for 10-15$ and buy that motherboard I suggested, it's INT GFX are significantly better than what you currently have and are a fair step above the 6100 int GFX. it also offers you future scaleability as it has a PCI-e slot.

 

only in a few dx9 games. everything else it gets hammered in especially HL2 due to lack of SM3 and HDR.

 

The review that I read ... the x850 XT PE outperformed it in Call of Duty 2, F.E.A.R. and Half Life 2. The 7800 GS did better in Battlefield 2, Far Cry and Quake 4. I own all of the games that the ATI card did better in ... but none of the games that the Nvidia card did better in ... so I think it's better for the games that I play.

 

at what screen resolution and settings though? I, the 7 series cards should put it over the x850 as it has antialiasing capabilities above that of the x850. AA takes a larger toll on the x850 than on the 7800 if I am nto mistaken. the 7 series is about greater work/pixel, not mroe pixels

 

Also if you cannot really play HL2 lost coast on your x850 as it needs HDR.

You don't "need" it to play lost coast ... because I've played it on my card. I was going to send my card back to trade it for a 7800 GS Superclock in an earlier topic and u said that I shouldn't. As long as it runs the games that I play at max or near max settings ... I'm fine with that.

I enabled HDR on Half Life 2 Lost Coast and it worked ... I thought u said that the x850 couldn't enable that?

 

I want that case, lol.

My case right now is so boring and bland.. its just a big black box from the factory.. I'm thinking about building a new one, but right now I don't have the money.

 

how can it work. the card doesnt support it.
