what software. they pretty much all come with the same stuff. The onboard sound on the dfi is awesome. And there is no better bios than the genie which is only on DFI.
with INT radeon x200 GFX? yeh it's a fairly good board... but you CAN OC them, just nto when you have a retarded BIOS as provided by a comp maker http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...82E16813130485R try flashing the BIOS... you should be able to OC with it.
how do i flash the bios lol? thats one of the few things ive never done before on my computer... Merged Post: i just chatted with a tech support from emachines to find out what motherboard i have lol, i was slightely off... its a MSI MS-7184, im on msi website and they dont have any bios files for it... the only bios files i could fine for it were the upgraded ones for emachines and the ones for HP.....
you won't be flashing anything then, unless you can find a hacked 3rd party BIOS. it might run off the same BIOS as the other model, but I wouldnt' put any money on it.
You may want to get like a 600 watt power supply and as the processor I think there is some new ones coming back so ya just wait until Christmas.
fon't f with the fxs, just get a freaking opteron 170 if your such an enthusiast. BonaFide was able to OC his opteron 170 to 2.8 ghz with only a .1 volt increase. Then again you'de likely need better ram but...
i told you, im getting 2gbs of G-SKILL DDR500, a DFI lanparty ultra D and an opteron or X2 for christmas but by christmas who knows wtf cpus will have came out. my uncle told me their on a ----inag rampage with these new processors... and he also told me that their coming out with HD-DVD soon, he knwos about this ---- years before it happens. he knew about windows vista 2 years ago.
lots of people knew about the next windows in 2002. They already started development under longhorn a long time ago. If your going to buy in december then just wait and get a conroe or something. You dont need good ram to overclock to 2.8. You just need a good mobo and chip. For example if you had a good x2 3800+ and you have a DFI. CHuck the ram down to 133, up the fsb to 280, up the vcore to 1.55. Boot it up, if it works and is stable, slowly drop the vcore until its at its lowest stable. Of course you would chuck in a few (a lot) more steps.
