You are wasting your breath. I have mentioned before my MSDN account has Vista ASAP and I am waiting for the other cards. Just give me time. Also, my machine will not be outdated it's all 64 bit ready and like I have already mentioned, my cards will show up magicaly when they come out and my Vista is guaranteed.

I also plan on getting more into gaming, much more into it. I also have HL 2 and CSS. I sold one copy of it already just went to buy another. This is useless, besides, I have mentioned before I used it like a server more and more each day, so lay low, sit back, and make sure you know what I am prepared for and worry more about your self and your money issues, not mine. Matter of fact.... what money issues? I don't have any of those. So, you can worry about your money issues, I don't have any.

Is this to just show off or something?

It's a waste of money if you ask me, just cuz its an alienware and if you were smart, you'd get a custom build that would be better.

I wouldnt of gotten that cpu.

Sure, to show off.... no... I could care less what people think of me, though, I must be drawing some attention. Also, I have been over the custom ordeal as well. I buy a computer every year. So, I got lazy and didn't build my own this time and people are flipping out. ----, all I know is, it is running damn good and I love it that way. Next computer I get I may incorporate parts from this and my next one will be built by me, yes, me.

A lot of people wouldn't of gotten this CPU... BUT... I know that most people are "Fan Boyz" of AMD as well... so right back at ya... I am an Intel Fan...

what do you mean your waiting for other cards? Do you mean you went out and bought the most expensive gfx card just to upgrade it in 8 months. WOW. donate some money to the poor will you. If you intended it to mean your card will work. I will NOT as even if you have tested vista it doesnt have dx10 in it yet.I also do not believe you have an MSDN account.

well thats a good thing. intels need alot of fans because they run so hot.

I'm an intel fan too Netburst has some serious POTENTIAL, people are getting PXEs to 5Gh, only bad thing is that you don't up the system bus fast enoughnetburst is bandwidth limited, the procs themselves have great design in theory, I just can't afford liquid nitrogen DDR2-1600 and a Custom modified northbridge on a motherboard to get the full eprformance out of it., nor can I be bothered with it.

seriously if you want an intel proc, you shoudl ahve just waited a few months for conroe to come out which vastly out performa a Pentium D. People here are not AMD fans, they just like performance/$ trust me, if Intel sold a 5.0ghz quad core conroe proc and AMD had a 4.5ghz Athlon X4 and both performed similarly, guess which one I would buy?

    MSDN Account 2k$ Not hard....

As for the fans... what fans? I got Liquid cooling... as for you believing the account... it's all gravy... shouldn't have mentioned it... I have tested Vista, yes, and I know the cards aren't out... also, the reason I only bought one x1900 instead of two SLi's like I intended too was, the upgrade. =)

i give it a 7/10 , comp suks pretty much , 4GB of ram is overkill i bet my 4x 512MB kills it pretty easy and my opteron 165 @ 2,8 pwns it even more... but everything else looks great... except the motherboard is SLI ready and you have an ATI video card. good luck with it anyway

actually, if 1.8 ghz = 3.2ghz pentium i doubt a 4.5Ghz AMD will be equal to a 5ghz intel, and another thing, i doubt AMD will reach 5GHZ, since they are not stupid enuff , just like intel. AMD has better architecture, and runs wayyyy cooler.

i said conroe, not pentium 4. conroe is very close to the athlons clock/clock, even exceeding in some areas.

An Alienware is nothing more than an overpriced computer, custom building one yourself will give you the same specs at a cheaper price tag. It's still a good computer nevertheless.
