And may I ask how it is you "turn up" a co-ax connection? The speed is determined at the cable modem itself and from the provider. I am just curious how you do what you are saying.

Speeding up your stuff there is many ways to do it... where I live there is a way to get outside on the pole to do it. It is just cranking up some stuff on the outside to how much is alowed to you. It like, the screw on your dirtbike that allows you to make it idle higher. It just turns the juice up a little more. If you want to know (If you cable company does it from the poles) how to do this you just have to watch them because they are not all the same. I called Comcast and told them my connection was slow they asked me "Are your TVs fuzzy?" I said "Yes." They sent someone out to look and they went on the pole and I watched them take this thing and turn something. It gave me my internet back to original state and my TVs were clear again. If you want to try it then you can but I am not going to tell you how to do it from here because I don't want to be "responsible" for illegal activities nor do I want you to fall off a pole. Here is a better way for you to crank it up... actually quite a few ways: http://cable-dsl.home.att.net/
