if you have to buy a PC you might as well toss the extra 400$ at it and make it a nice gaming setup. if your PC is not new enough to warant a nice GFX card, then the 360 isn't too bad. which has the highest potential though? PC by leaps and bounds, trust me two opteron 280s and two 7900GTXs will slaughter an Xbox 360, but considering the fact that you can purchase specialty motherboards and link theme together for a rediculous number of boards(imagaine 20 opterons)
PC... XBox = known for shooter... but imagine using that giant controller <.< No fun... if you wanna interact with people you will probably want to get a headset, keyboard and mouse (for fast movement)... and the latter two come automatically with a pc! If the rpgs came on pc (the ones I like)... then PC ALL the way!
Id rather use a computer over a 360 anyday Its more interactive and tons of different things like mods, skins, new maps etc. that make the games fun
Not really... I dont see any difference COD2 on either system and I got an x800gto card..which isnt all that much..
Yea it was stated that Xbox 360 had sick graphics then the PC when it first came out, but PC is always evolving and now the PC can and has way better Graphics then Xbox 360 will ever have. Dont get me wrong I love consoles also, I like the feature where I can just toss in a game and go ahead and play. But I like PC a lot more beacuse of many other potential it has besides a Gaming system. For example using PS CS2 to create all those sigs and graphic art that Xbox 360 cant do.
PC, It gives me much more control of my games.(Except Driving / Sports Games pretty much) Xbox360 is fun when you got friends over though ^^
It depends on how willing you are going to be as time goes on. Understood fact: PCs will more or less eventually have better graphics than the current (or in this case next) gen consoles. Main problem is commitment. The 360 is more or less a home console made for those who want to play PC games; the PC's version of a game will be better, but every two years or so you basically have to upgrade in order to play the newest games. For the 360, you more or less have to wait a year and then get a lower quality version, but it's cheaper.
PC ALL THE WAY!! consoles in general, espescially the xbox360, are simply dumbed down computers. the PC then is obviosly the real mccoy and should be picked, hands down. ask any REAL FPS hardcore gamer ( like the REAL fatal1ty if ya know who im talkin bout ) and they will all say, get off the crack and get yourself a pc. its upgradable. its expandable. its got post buy content for any game out there. its got a more in depth feel to it, just sittin 18 inches rather than 8 feet away. there is no built in autoaim to help ya with your joystick, its all skill online. its tweakable. and its so much cooler to walk into a lan party with a pc.
pc ftw! im never going to buy an xbox and all of the newer versions when they come out every 2 years when i can get emulators on my pc... its not even a question to ask xbox 360: 600$, will last 3 years pc: 1300$ will last for a long azz time
