Problem On My Ipb

    I own IPB version 2.1.3.

    Everything was working great until today I started getting weird messages after erroring out. Can someone tell me what is causing this message?

    SQL error: Too many connections
    SQL error code:

    The error saids what the problem is...

    It often goes away, if your active enough at GameRenders i'm sure you've seen the error once or twice.

    OK. Thought maybe I was having some problems with the host or something. It's never happened before, and it really weirded me out.

    Similar to being freaked out, except that being wierded would mean you are more disturbed by what you see or hear.

    It was your host in all likelyhood. The SQL server had (obviously) 'too many connection' and you get that error. If you have a good host they normally get things back up in under a minute...

    Unless you manage the actual SQL server there isnt much you can do, maybe just report the problem when it happsn

    I appreciate all of the feedback. I'm still learning all of the aspects of running an IPB, and get a little flustered at times.

    I think the error you get only happen in types of web scripts which require SQL database, such as tose php scripting. So expect to get more of that error:)

    and by the way, I thought you say you were new to IPB? Then why would there be many people visiting your site in such a short time?

    And secondly you sound like your accusing him of lying... wth's with that...
