congratulations, you have successfully used either the custom shape tool or the rectangular marquee tool and 3 colors! on a more serious/less sarcastic note, its not bad, but please spend more time designing your templates. Slapping 11 plain rectangles, some text, and a poorly reflected text header is not a template in my books. Not to mention on the headings/date for the entries you used an anti-alias, and unless you plan on making a new image every post you do, i would recommend changing that.
hmm.. IMO, the design dont really look that bad. You might just want to spend more time designing it, read tuts, etc.
You got that right. Its way to simple. Spend some more time in it. Read some tuts. Add something other then squares and text.
