dont' see a need for any immediate upgrades, if anything, I would say you should buy a second cavier for 80 bucks and RAID them.

either that or an opteron 165 and OC it to hell should your ram provide

kk thats something to think about :P. the cpu is a must by the time christmas is here...prices will drop and dual core will still be the ----... i would by then prolly be able to aford an X2 4600+ or a 175 opteron and overclock it....plus i dont want only a cpu for christmas lol.

actually thats the one thing i wouldnt want because i run games on high settings with mine and it costed me 230 bucks.... so why go out and buy a new card that will be outdated the same time mine will be and they both run games on high settings lol? cause the only difference is price, clocks, and pixel pipelines.... all the stuff "needed" to run games is the same, like open GL, direct X, shaders etc etc....

Probly get slightly better framerate, and it probly would last a tad bit longer.
I'm just saying, thats what I'd do if I really had to, cuz everything else seems great (although I'd like dual core a 3400 thats a tad OC'd is great :P )

    make sure that 3400+ is a 939.

why buy something so expensive - ABIT fatal1ty AN8 Nforce4 ultra?
Downgrade to a cheaper board that does the same+more. eg DFI LanParty Ultra-D.

Do you need Media Center? Will you be hooking it up to your entainment set. Even if you will just save your pennies and grab xp pro.

Dont use 4x 512mb RAM, get 2x 1gb. As your motherboard might cut the speed of your ram .

The aspire dreamer. sure you want a bright case? they get annoying.

Instead of aspire fans, get nexus fans, they are silent.

A 420W unknown brand psu wont cut it. Upgrade that to at least a 480W antec TruePower II.

lol well the fatal1ty also comes with the best overclocking bios in the market... sick chipset cooling fans, it loosk awsome, its stable, its ABIT... plus the awsome sound it comes with. i took our my cpu the other day and it even says 939 on it.. i already have two sticks on 512 mb so why throw them away? i love my aspire case, its quiet, its sexy, its big. the aspire fans came with the case..... the power unit came with the case and it does the job for now lol. basically u told me to throw away my system cause this is what i have now lol.
EDIT: DFI's arent that good tbh, their the most picky board with ram, almost no value ram works with them... and thats what the average consumer gets.
