    premium tuts are typically better

the end, think about it. COMMON SENSE. thus far I've only seen a lack of thought on your part in your posts. posting an "800$" computer(which is worth more like 250) in a thread where a guy wanted a good computer ona 1500$ budget

well premium alone means (as taken from dictionary.com):
    6. The amount at which something is valued above its par or nominal value, as money or securities.

So that should infer to someone with common sense that "premium" tutorials should be above par of the regular tutorial section.

technically your correct...but these tutorials are posted by people, and the posting is controlled by forum mods...forum mods dont necessarily HAVE to make sure all tutorials in the premium tutorials section are actually Premium.

and this is why i was asking for personal opinions.

if this was a common sense issue at all, it showed that the people that posted that i was lacking common sense were indeed the ones lacking common sense.

try to post a topic in the premium tutorial section and tell me if you succeed. a normal member, a premium member, and a donator cannot post a topic (unno about mods). They are moved after being reviewed by all staff AFTER being submitted via PM to a member called PTReview. That is mentioned in the premium tutorials FAQ/information section.

In short, read the stickies, they usually contain all information you need on the particular forum or any questions you may have. As said before, its common sense... I mean... come on... isnt it common sense to read the pinned topics in the section your questioning about? So, as you said we were the ones lacking common sense, it is you, once again, that is lacking common sense.

there are people that dont do their job, or do favors, maybe in your mind everyone is perfect and everything they say is 100% factual, but sorry to say, your mislead

If you werent looking for a flame fest you shouldnt have said that those who said you didnt have common sense (as it truly is common sense) were the ones lacking common sense.

Flaming? I am merely having a discussion, flaming would involve me directly assaulting you with words, often times involving profanities.

If a mod does a favor for someone, they are violating their privelages and should be punished, and i know the admins and mods of this site do a great job of keeping people in check, even other staff members, you wouldnt know that as you havnt been here that long.

And yes, if everyone were to submit their tutorial (which ALOT of people do), this would assure better quality. There are reasons they have guidelines to follow to get into premium tutorials. They are tutorials gurus for a reason. Tutorials are around to accurately show how to get to a certain outcome, all the premium tutorials are tutorials that are in-depth, easily followed, clearly written and not lacking intellegence from the creator. They always will signify better TUTORIALS, they do not guarentee better outcomes. Someone could say:
    1) open a new blank canvas, 300x90
    2) do whatever you want
    3) post this as an outcome with a testimonial.

That has the potential to produce effects like stott's, T3's, UV's, etc. and have a huge potential for awesome outcomes, however the tutorial itself sucks. All the premium tutorials ARE based on preciseness, creativity (the outcome), the detail and the overall design of it (how it was put together, how easy it is on the eyes, etc.).

As far as favors being given, only 2 people you can even consider favors for: Dooks and Xplosion (zain - now zexplosion, i think), and they are both awesome people and you cannot deny the fact that the tutorials they got into the premium tutorials section qualifies to everyone (virtually) as great tutorials. Some people would argue that since they are for signatures they arent worth anything, but meh, a tutorial is a tutorial.

    You have a point Patrialt.

Just because there is a premium section .Dementia , that doesn't mean the tutorials are actually premium. Of course, "we" would know this because we're able to access it, and look at them. Someone who does not have access though would only assume that they are better, and "assumption" has a contrasting and yet similar definition from "common sense."

So To better understand Patrialt, we should re-word the question into more perfect form which is....

"Is the premium section actually worth the access?"

My answer......................Somewhat worth it. Some tuts are pretty good, and some are o'k. The sad thing would be that almost every tut there is about sigs.

(Kind of like the arguments that happened during the "IS BEING A PREMIUM MEMBER WORTH IT?" era.)

::JULIO::, thanks for helping clear that up for me, i mean, i dont have any want to start problems here ya know, i justed wanted to get a general idea of what i'd be looking forward to assuming i go premium.

my sig making capabilities are primarily what im making an attempt to better so this would be very helpful.

So thanks .Dementia. for giving me an indepth description on the Premium side of things.

Apologies for my counter-flaming btw, Sorry
