About 2 or 3 months ago my little brother comes up to me and says "your computer isnt working", im thinking holy :censored: what did you do now, He takes me over to the computer and shows me that he couldn't log in, so naturly i rebooted then left it alone, he left too. Then a day later my mom comes up to my and says the same thing, i am thinking again. It turns out that my windows account was the only one working(which is weird). So i am wondering if its like a problem i can fix in the Control panel, Don't tell me to re-install windows cause my dad has it at his house(lives in walking distance), but he's out of town and i can't just go to his house and search through his stuff. Does anyone have any idea how to make them work?

Do Not Say re-install windows cause if i cant fix it thats what im going to do.

    Reinstall Windows....

    :D

You got access to control panel yes? Then just go in and edit their accounts..
if you arent allowed to, try rebooting and goin into safemode (press f8 during boot stage) and log in as administer.

    Well..
You can try removing passwords to see if that was it.
And you can try changing account type.

How does it not work exactly?
Does it give you an error or..what

    You can try this..
Control Panel < Administrative Tools < Computer Management
System Tools < Local Users and Groups < Users

Find a user that wont work, right click, properties.

Password never expires can be checked, the rest probly shouldnt be.

When you click to log in it starts logging in and then it logs off before even getting to the desktop

Unless it is a simple password issue, you need to give us more details. Give us the error listed in the system log. :)

If you're going by the fact that Norton didn't find anything, then don't re-install yet. I believe Norton can miss a LOT of things. Get what XMasterX suggested and try again.
