i installed a game ages ago and dont play it anymore, so im trying to remove it via 'add and remove programs'...but it isnt working...it gets half way from uninstalling and freezes.

Is there another way to get rid of it?

delete the files from the installation folder and just never use it, not th best way to do it, but who cares you aren't using it anymore and anyharm to the registry is improbable.

just leave it there. In order to uninstall manually you would need to delete games folder, delete the appropriate files in the windows folder (dunno how you would find them) and the registry values.

wouldn't really "mess it up" unless he had a very unique combination of values which constantly cross referenced it. if you're deleting it for HDD space though, buy a new HDD the are relatively cheap.

    Start>Find
Search the name of the game, and delete everything that shows up (shift+end)
