do this: go to programs>accesories>system tools>syetem restore.. and pick a date that has a system checkpoint, make sure it was before the infection and u should be good. if not, run a good virus/spyware test with adaware and/or avast and that will do the trick. if it infected ur programs and u must delete the programs to get rid of the virus then id reccomend reformatting :P

    Microsoft AntiSpyware(Beta1)
    or
    Windows Defender(Beta2)

It's best if you can get (Beta1)

    Edit: Windows Defender(Beta2)

Scan wise. Yes then Beta2 is better. But I still think the track eraser in Beta1 is amazing ^_^

I would suggest downloading spybot search and destroy or Adaware. They are both anti virius programs.

And what stpl91 was saying was to system restore, which is basicly going back to how you computer was before the problem, not reformatting.

adaware is not anti-virus. hence the name of the program, AD-aware

Keep Windows Defender. It's much better than some people think :)

Else start using Opera as browser ;)

lol did u even read what i said? i said use reformat as a last resort if ur programs are messed up after u delete the virus, if u can because sometimes when a virus infects programs u basically have to get rid of the programs to get rid of the virus so whats the point os making ur system even more ----ty by reinstalling everythin, thats when u reformat....
