My computer beeps, But exactly sure why. But all I know is that I need to turn off that annoying lil beep. If anyone had the same thing on their computer, and got rid of it, please tell me how. It's annoying as heck.

    fix the damn problem

anyway, what sequence of beeps do you get? what model is your mobo/case?

did you check your ram? usually thats the problem, unless the cpu or some other device is overheating.. do you get this on setup, or while it is runniong?

my ASUS Mobo has a monitor that keeps tracks of voltage and heat and few other things. If I remember right it can be setup w/o popping up a warning but just beeps at you, letting you know that something is wrong.

Not sure if this is the same prob you have.

You can turn off beepings/warnings on ASUS A8N that i got - Not sure what mobo u got :)

Your fan might be below the minimum RPM or something :D Happened to me once whilst i put my parts together and my CPU fan was on a low rpm coz CPU temp was low :D

I got a Asus P5WD2 Premium (iLife) mobo.

Everything is firmy connected--I double checked while I was putting the Computer together. But It might be that it's overheating...but if it WAS overheating, then wouldn't there be a loss of FPS? Because it usually (and by ususally i mean 99.6% of the time) beeps when I'm in a game, but it never starts to lag or anything like that.

if it's a constant beeping it very well could be a PSU problem, on an older PIII system I had the PSU had mroe or less taken a crap and the beeping was great evidence fo such, I solved the problem though... I donb't use the thing anymore.
