Looking For A Really Nice Portal

I am currently running version 2.1.3 of IPB, and the portal just doesn't look very good. It's not bad, but I think I can do wayyy better. Does anyone have a link to a nice portal that I can download and install? Much appreciated....thank you.

 

you can install a mod, called unrealportal.

there is also one called mkportal, but i had problems with it in the past.

also, in your fantastico, if you have it, there are quite a few cmd's there which can work like a portal...

 

You want an add-on for IPB or just a complete site? In what? HTML? PHP (probably) with all admin stuff?

I think you should try Subdreamer then, very user frendly it'll intergrate in your IPB board

subdreamer you have to pay for, the others you can find at www.invisionize.com (along with every other mod if you dig into their forums, including the 3.0.2 store mod for 2.0.4 which isnt in their mod database anymore and the new rep module for 2.0.4, etc.).

i personally really like unreal portal, very customizable, easily installed, etc.

 

SMF is doing fine for a portal(actually it is also not a portal, it is a forum). And if you don't mind paying a bit, vBulletin is also a good choice.

 

Ya....I already run 2.1.3, and I have the points syetm and everything installed, just not happy with the IPB portal. I'll check invisionize.......thanks for the tips.
