You missed the DVD-Roms and ehm the 'cooling' ? Fan -Included ::: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&Tab=2&NoMapp=0 Didnt knew stock coolers were so expensive
Forgot to mention the DVd/CD things, I'm jacking them from my moms PC, ;p. And thanks for noticing the fan on the processor, I can't read xD.
It's alright, I didn't realize I did the math wrong until you posted anyway, thanks for the concern though.
yea 200 is fine dont do what i do i have a 200 which has my operating system on it a 25 that holds my music/photoshop a 250 that takes up space
get dual chanel ram, shouldn't cost anymore, in fact it's at the point where it is slightly cheaper also, no need for more than2 GB at this point, windows XP can't address more than 2.54GB you're getting a Pentium D... those use DDR2 ram insteed of DDR1, also, am Athlon X2 4200+ rapes them, this is what i WOULD SUGGEST FOR ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT' Athlon x2 4200+ processor 2GB (2*1GB) DDR500 sd Ram DFI ultra D motherboard 7900GT two of these in RAID0 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822144701 also is ther a reason why you are getting the stuff from tiger direct? they are more expensive than newegg.
If your going for preforamce isnt it better to get a Raptor 36 gig as boot and 1 of those 250gb as storage?
raptors seem popular, but has anyone tried the 15000 RPM hdd's? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822141139 that one is 15000 RPM, 16mb cache, i just dunno if they are very good, i havent heard anything about them.
if you raid the two, they would outperform a single 36GB raptor in a few things and be really close in a lot of others, plus you can always RAID5 them in time
Didn't know about newegg. And thanks dude, I think I'm going to repick everything you recommended.. Merged Post: Anybody recommend cooling/power supplies for the list xelink provided?
