Ram For Photoshop

    How do allocate RAM for Photoshop on WIndows, as Im getting so pissed off because Im buying sigs, and it is saying that I dont have enough memory (RAM).

    You can try just rebooting ur PC if it normally has enough RAM.


    Thats what i used to do

    I tryed rebooting, it doesnt work....

    Hmm..
    How much..
    physical memory?
    virtual memory?

    maybe if you add some more virtual memory..hm..this has been a problem before I'm gonna go try to find some threads like this...

    EDIT: yea I'd say a bigger pagefile could help.
    If you got 1gb RAM, set page file to 1.5x.
    If you got 512 RAM, set it to 2.5x.

    right click on my computer
    properties
    advanced tab
    Options under performance
    change there
