Baught A Gfx Card...

    anyone know a good place to maybe watch a tutorial on how to install? btw i baught an 6600 GT geoforce

    you got your ass ripped off.


    as to how to install:

    open case, insert card into the only slot it will fit into
    plug in any power cords if needed(only for PCI-e)
    close case
    start windows and use the disc that came witht he card to install the drivers
    done


    you might want to ground yourself whiel doing this as well, so always touch the case so you don't electrocte your new card.

    oh wellll :censored: anyways im trying to install it now..i have it in the PCI express slot..im confused with the power plugin thing, it's suppose to be connected to the power plug? i think the powerplug doesnt have anywhere to plug it in so do i connect it to the hardrive? im on my laptop right now..if you dont know what i mean ill take a pic....thanks

    just do that DONE. The card should have come with a power adapter though which plugs into the standard power conectors of the power supply. Nothing to dow ith yout hardrrive at all save for the fact that it loas games and drivers off of it

    oh ok thanks im going to plug into a thing called p5...there is one ment to plug in and there are 2 on the other side of it so i plug one in and the other one just leave it loose?

    Yes, leave the extra one loose so you can connect anything else to it. Then you are done.
