OK I personaly am sick of the trend where in nearly every sig I see, especialy 1s with real ppl, ther is hardly no colour and its way over non-contrasted and you cant see the render much, like it doesnt catch your eye. Whats with this trend? I think its coz ppl are ashamed of their work so they make it hardly visible (sarcasm on) I think sigs should be colourfull but yes sum should be like i just stated. I think if u got colours then show them. What you ppl think?
I like my sigs big 'n bright, but depending on the render and the mood you want to relay, lowering the saturation and contrast might be cool.. It really matters upon the artist's opinion.
i know what you mean as i also like the style if it goes well but what i mean is that i think its going a bit over the top with that style, you dont see many grunge sigs any more, when you do see them they usualy not good coz all the pros dont bother with it. To be honest though i think grunge is a bit old style now and usualy looks quite scruffy, its like its either good or bad if ya no what im onabout lol
Urm, if that is what they like to do, why give a ----? Do you want them to change because you don't like it?
Grunge, is one of my favorite styles persoanlly. The over contrasted sigs im not to over fond at also. To me Grunge sigs are what i consider "the real deal" as odd as it sounds its true, they are one of the best old styles out there. Dark Horror grunge is also very cool, barely any bushing. Just alot of rock textures mixed with very nice detailed photos. (sorry if im rambling)
lol finaly sum1 who agrees, the funny thing is that no1 here has the style im inabout but say they like it and i dont get that.
When people see something they like, they're going to figure out how to do it, and once they do, most people are going to make a bunch of sigs in that same style, experimenting a bit each time... It usually starts out as a tutorial that everyone likes, then it goes to everyone making their own little tutorials with their own spins on the style, and soon, you've got everyone perfecting the same style... Trends just happen. If you want to be different, stick with your own style. If you want the majority of the people (usually) to like your tags, follow the trend style. Everyone's got their own tastes. I like originality... Any style that only one person uses, I like, which makes it hard for me to get my own style that I like... I also tend to lean towards the abstract and gaming tags, and away from the wierd light colored celeb tags. Being liked is good. Having fun making tags is better.
