Well, I decided to post this. Known this one for a bit though. Open a brand-new Notepad document. Then paste this in: Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\ShellFolder] "Attributes"=hex:50,01,00,20 "CallForAttributes"=dword:00000000 Save this as a .reg file and then close it. Re-open this and click "Yes" that you want to add it to your registry. You can now delete the file you created with word. From now on, you can right click and rename your Recycle Bin. I use ---- Bin. It's all fun and game. Just some editing.
Trying my best. Did I do user version on Desktop yet? I don't remember. If not I will BUMP all my posts.
Nope, it's not in the shell registry to set a name on the Recycle Bin. You have to add a new Dword Value.
I'm gettin the same error and I just saved it as .reg n same thing..pops up with the error. Crap nvm, didn't paste the Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 part in. thanks.
It may not be necissary but it is fun. Most of the stuff on GR is though unless we get serious in the computing section. HAHAA
