i have bought and activated a domain when you go to my site, instead of displaying www.mydomain.com or www.mydomain.com/mysub/folder it shows www.host'sdomain.com/mydir when you click a page or link anyone know how or why? and anyway i can fix this?? Thanks ppl
okay, it sounds like you set it up to forward to your website. What you need to get are the nameservers from your host and then configure your domain with those. After you do that, it may take a few hours for the change to take place, as the DNS info will be propagating over the internet.
hmm, so you bought a server (or host it locally) and bought a domain for it. have you looked around at your settings on your domain host's website or w/e, im not really sure what its like since i have never bought a domain. could be something on your server's end where a setting needs to be switched. try messing with any of the settings that look 'domain' related
