so discuss good ways to find good music when you run out. like what if you have all songs from the artists you like and you are bored with your music what do you do next? because i am in this situation and need new music. i guess i'm into rockish stuff not sure of the genre so that's why i'm kinda stuck too. discuss ways to find new musica!! and if you referr sum good songs here that'd be cool too. i listen to like jack johnson, jason mraz, all american rejects, fray, blackeyedpeas, and nine days
iTunes--- you can look through the store and see what other people who liked a particular song/artist/cd bought... i usually download that band if im looking for new music... also, altho its evil at first, yahoo has a radio called "LaunchCast" that you can say what type of music you like and each song lets you rate it, if you dont like the song/band just say "dont play this band anymore"... after a few hours of listening to music and rating the songs you start getting music/artists you like, you can download them elsewhere.
My advice is go to google and search for rock radio or go to a club and just socialize! Maybe even check Amazon for who bought what. Also depends how you define rock
I look at the CD cover. If it is cool and on a good label I'll usually check them out. I may not buy the CD but I will listen to them and see if I like them. I'm not gonnna link (don't know if allowed) but you could try Pandora. You type in an artist and they will play similar bands. Just google Pandora to find the site.
Normally i just listen to the radio for somethin i like. Will also check countdown sites, for example this is one i normally look at http://members.aol.com/heavyrockr/phat50.htm http://members.aol.com/heavyrockr/fab40.htm and other than that i just will sometimes look at one of my faovorite artist's site and check out when they're gonna be making new albums

If you like "good" music that is really opinionated. Good music to me is Paul Simon. I doubt young guns like that anymore. Led Zepline is good too, Eric Clapton, Etc. It might not be new but it is always "good" and IMO never gets old.
