google image s-video port and see if you have that kinda scoket on the back of your laptop and if you have that kinda socket on your tv. if you do, take an s-video cable and just plug it in, consult graphics card menu for more detailed instructions. or google your card and see how to do it.
yes you need this inside your PC to do it. Happauge WinTV http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16815116620
ROFL.... Noooo.... that is a tuner card. That is for Windows MCE XP computers. Don't get that. Hehehe... XP It's called S-Video to composite OR S-Video to TV. Depending on what your TV supports. Also, if niether, then you can search for VGA to Composite or something... but I have never tried that. Here: http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=102&sku=13043

^that looks to be s-video. So grab an svideo cable and run it from your pc to your tv. Then press fn+f8 (one of the F# button).
erm, i think some tv's now come out with a DVI slot in the back... at least my brothers does. i think you can watch it like that without the S-Video. (¿i think?)
Only some of them do that. Most computers have S-Video so they don't really make "Monitor" TVs anymore. (Big hit at one time though man)
If your laptop comes with an S-Video port, you can simply grab (or buy) an S-Video cable and connect to the TV.
