try not using steroids aswell, eddie gerrero (god bless his soul) took overdose of them and killed him at age of 40 by heart attack, the outcomes of steroids is huge muscle but a small pinky

Steroids damage everything. Liver = Overworks the liver because steroids are processed as toxins and expelled from the body. Heart = Overworks the heart because steriods contract blood vessels, increasing heart rate. Testicles = Synthetic testosterone results in the decrease of natural testosterone. Testicles shrink. Also might develop breasts if you've been taking them for awhile.
the damage to the testicles is only temporary it goes away after you cycle off them. you also orgot the thyroid system and endocrine system, those take it more than the heart. Also, the heart doens't end up so bad from the contraction of the vesels due to all the antioxidents and cardio those body builders get(which both lead towards increased vessel size) but theirliver and kidneys take a ---- most definately. protein contains 4 calories/gram carbs contain 4/gram fats contain 9/gram
get into a sport if your starting out i played basketball for my school and i noticed that alot more muscle has developed and my body is used to working hard, so it makes running a mile a peice of cake
Ye Steroids affect everything - Has undesired and unexpected results - You dont know what might happen - Thats why its dangerous and people risk using them Ill say dont take protein shakes atm - Just eat daily fish or something and there yo have it your daily supply of protein - Over feeding with protein shakes or protein itself causes them to be stored as fat I work out like 3-4 times a day depends on my mate and mood -lol 1. Run intensively - First thing I do is to increase CV exercise around 11km/h for like 8minutes 2. Start benchpressing & working my chest to build my pecs or so called man boobs hahah 3. Leg presses 4. Free Weights[Dumbells] - Working both triceps & biceps - No use working one part of muscle more than the other - They will look uneven 5. Situps/abs workput Thats my workout but when i reached home - Im not finished - I start doing more abs workout and some pressups Once you have worked out I REPEAT DO NOT EAT AFTER YOU HAVE WORKED OUT - Eat like 1-2hours later - You are trying so hard to burn it off but you are putting the weight back on again -lol Basically eat fish & drink loads and loads of water - I got a 2litre of really cold mineral water besides me *drinks it*
diet> supplements I agree. oen thing though, benchpressing is one of the least effective methods of working the chest, your bench press is typically limited by your triceps and your supporting muscles, not your chest, DB press and DB flies are far more effective for working the chest and less injury prone. also hack squat and squat> legpress not to mention deadlift. I also suggest running priot to lifting leaving lactic acid in your muscle might make recovery a bit slower but it promptsyour body to increse it's tendon strength or so I have heard.
Aight and now when you guys say drink water, does that mean like WATER? or like liquids such as gatorade? Because I hate drinking a lot of water it gets so old after a while I tried to drink a gallon a day and by the 3rd day I was sick of it.
Water is naturally the best for you, because it's not filled with synthetic sweeteners and other crap. But if you can't stand it, Gatorade is the next-best thing. It's 90% water anyway, with some sugar and food coloring.
sorry, but i must say this is hilarious. i'm just going to take a wild guess and say that 18% of the people who've posted in this thread are over weight, the rest of you probably have no idea what you're talking about and heard some ---- in a phys ed class so you think you know something. This is excluding Zelink I've been weightlifting since the beggining of grade 10, probably for the same reason as you. To get bigger and have a little more confidence in the summer when I'm on the beach. I've never really been fat or anything, but after I stopped playing hockey I gained alot of weight because of the excess time I spent around the computer. Anyways, gl getting bigger. it's a bitch, and it literally takes FOREVER to get huge. but begin with the end in mind, I mean after you're big and cut every girl will want to hang off your muscles. I mean all the girls here in my highschool(s) love a guy who is physically fit. Again, gl, and I think Xelink already answered your question so I won't even bother. EDIT: Water, drink it as much as possible. Don't drink soda ever again. All I really drink now is water, tea, some juices, milk, coffee sometimes :s. Last time I had a can of soda was like 5-6 months ago, and I think by taking out a simple thing like soda out of your every day life can lead to fat loss I drink about 3-4L of water a day btw. but I think it's best to have 1-2L or something like that :s btw, the testicles return to normal size after you're done with the steroids. also, if used properly and not in large doses, I'm pretty sure that you can walk out with no damage, a few side effects, but no damage. My dads good friend used to be a hockey player, but then he injured his knee or something like that and could never skate again. he picked up weight lifting, and he did roids for a year. I talked to him about it to ask him about tips for dieting/routines and then I asked him about the steroids. he's fine now. no damage at all, and he took it for a year. I never plan on taking steroids, because I don't think I want to compete in bodybuilding, and I know if I tried steroids once, and got a good result, I'd probably end up doing it again. Don't say I have "a weak mind" because I don't, many people would probably do the same.
I dont see how people can be happy with using steroids... I like seeing results I get from real work, not using things to alter crap in my body to build up muscles faster...
You wouldn't understand. Competitive bodybuilding is way different from just weightlifting. Most of these bodybuilders are all natural untill they begin to compete and are blown out of the water because of the other people who have used steroids. They need to use steroids to be on par with everyone else who's competing. Also, I'm pretty sure the guys who you think are unhealthy because they've used steroids are going to live longer than you, well unless they keep it up
