if u installed it w. a fake winxp (if u running xp) boot disk, then sp2 is blocking all that. neway, if u didnt, then i recommend you to call Microsoft, and im sure they can help you.
wow dont talk, its not the solution to everything. Chances are registry values will be left behind so it wont fix the issue. Got Windows firewall enabled? Have you got another kind of firewall?
dont know why ff doesnt work if you use a proxy on IE, that sometimes messes msn up and doesnt let you log in, also if you do use a proxy, maybe ff needs the proxy for it to work?
