Can we PLEASE put in an official rule where you CANNOT repeat what the person said above in a help topic (i mean for favorites threads or what you like kind of things its fine, but for people asking for a particular thing)?

It is seriously beginning to piss the living hell out of me when you see someone post "pm an admin" and then 8 people say the EXACT flipping thing right after them (and not right after like they were both typing at the same time, im talking like even hours after eachother).

Or will I get my rep privelages removed if I simply start -repping everyone who does this? I dont think 3 rep a day is enough if my rep privelages wont be removed :D

    My solution for YOUR problem...

Don't come into this section any more. I've had too much problems in the Premium Render section, so I quit going in that section.

Ignoring it is a pretty crappy solution, why not try to fix it.

Thing is, its not just this section.

General Forums period all have it. Games, Computers, General Discussion, etc.

Someone has relationship problems and everyone says the same thing (doesnt bother me, because atleast you have multiple people saying the same thing for a real life situation). But for stuff like computers and building them everyone will say, ".Defuzion's (or w/e his name is) build is best, go with that" and everyone else will say the same thing and not help the situation at all.

In the gaming section a help topic rarely ever stays on topic, someone will come in saying like, "OMG I LIKE THAT GAME!!!" and then everyone else starts talking about how they like the game instead of helping the origional poster.

i hate it when people do that too :(

it is, but considering there is almost a 25,000 post average per week (maybe month) that is too much work for the mods to do it, but i think a fine should be put in place or something. Or I would just like to know that I cant have my rep privelages removed when I -rep repeated answers...

Drives me nuts too, especially when you see someone with three posts saying "Go google it", even after 3 people just said that...

Maybe Gamerenders needs more moderators, it is a hell of alot of work just for the amount of mods they have now, i seriously think they need more.

Nothing will change in that department unless something is done about it. It seems its pissing more and more people off nowadays, which isnt a good thing. Also moaning about it constantly isnt going to help either, lol

Maybe someone could actually have a talk to Dave or Llama about this via pm/msn, i dont know, all i know is this needs to be sorted before it gets out of hand.

Im happy to do it lmao

but i cant, warn level of 10% from my first set of renders here (a mod felt like giving me an inaccurate warn level and is no longer a mod here, actually hes banned...), so i cant be a mod, but im happy to -rep em all day lol

now that i think about that... maybe i should talk to joe about getting that removed...

ah cool beans, its been here over a year, i never even bothered with it, not worth arguing about :). I find arguing with mods that unjustly modified your warning level without a 100% legitimate reason tends to just get you in more trouble when you try to fight them.

its in their profiles... but to save you time:

    [email protected]
    [email protected]

they are also often in IRC when they are online (its like midnight over there i think).

they may actually make like a general mod group... the general forums tend to be the ones that have trouble being moderated, everything else is covered really well.
