I went to see this...yesterday. AEON FLUX United States, 2005 U.S. Release Date: 12/4/05 (wide) Running Length: 1:35 MPAA Classification: PG-13 (Violence, sexual situations, partial nudity) Theatrical Aspect Ratio: 2.35:1 Cast: Charlize Theron, Marton Csokas, Jonny Lee Miller, Sophie Okonedo, Frances McDormand, Pete Poslethwaite, Amelia Warner Director: Karyn Kusama Producers: David Gale, Gregory Goodman, Gale Anne Hurd, Gary Lucchesi Screenplay: Phil Hay & Matt Manfredi, based on characters created by Peter Chung Cinematography: Stuart Dryburgh Music: Graeme Revell It can be quite hard to get a hold of, to understand but this is basically the story line...from what I figured. Its set in the future, it tells you at the start that in 1911 a virus wiped out 99% of the earths population. The remaining people live in a "Utopia" run by the man who invented the cure for the virus. But there is a group of people (Including a Female Assasin [Aeon]) Who stand against the regeme of their leader. When the main characters sister goes missing the plot takes sudden twists filled with betrayal and action. I wont reveal anymore, in fear of producing a spoiler. I liked this quite a lot, Nothing is what it actually seems and the action scenes are very good. Its short but it doesnt SEEM Short. I recommend you go and watch it.. Nothing outstanding, but well worth a watch 3.5/5
nice review, if your into the manga and watched the series of them then the story may make more sence, i may go see or just buy it when it comes out
I would see it, but I hate how they have a girl as a hero. I'm not against females or anything, but I like realism, and a girl beaten up 5 big tuff dudes isn't exactly realism to me.
Not like the film is meant to be realistic. And there are plenty of women in the world that could take down 5 touch men.
The movie had sooo much more potential... and it didnt had anything to do with the anime series or the game that is not that old. appart from that the chick is hawt ^^ has very good effects and fights 6/10 for me
