the wires are capable of impeding airflow you realize... while on the subject of airflow, move it a few inches from the walls and put it in a place where it isn't loikely to fall. right now mine ins in a relatively tight spot(twoo inces of slack on either side) but every fan has atleast a foot before it is obstructed(due to desk/monitor/stad and other garbage I do) There is also the risk fo a cord blocking a fan which is never good

FYI IDE ribons are the worst for this

before I started taking out components and switching stuff so much I had all ym wires routed to the side, at this moment I do not and it is a bit off the mess but since the side panel is off and the wires are relaivly kempt it should be fine.

what I am considering doing is quite simple, get a long roll of black plastic tubing(the kind which looks cool and is ridged) which shouldn't cost much, then cut it in a straight line place my cables within it, then tape at incremental points and clamp it tight(should not clamp the cables) my friend did this to his mjouse in a case mod and it was quite interesting.

as for my IDE cable, my board and my drive are next to each other, I just tucked it in.

Really, that is about as bad as mine right now.

Visit pimpmyrig.com for info on how to sleeve your psu, a sleeving kit cost like 10 bucks, and it's worth it.
