Laptop Power Help

    can i make it so that if i unplug my laptop, the screen doesnt dim? its annoying and im wondering if there is a setting so that it stays with the same brightness or power.

    Check out the power save options i cant remember exactly if you can or anything but i used to use a laptop and i agree it is very annoying btw to access the options right click or double click i think on the little icon by the clock which shows its plugged in or shows a battery there might be a option in there that works but im not sure but i hope i get you on the right track

    look in power management, might be on windows, or in bios...

    my laptop did that, what i did was..

    1. Take out your adapter so its gone dim
    2. Hold the "Fn" key if you have one, and press the up key

    try that, you need to put up the brightness while the power is out.

    hmm not sure just try unplugging it and then finding the brightness control and turning it up that should solve the problem if not i have no idea

    most laptos will have an FN key, normally between the ctrl and alt keys (or in that general area) Depending on your make of laptop it should simply be a case of holding doen that button and then tapping the screen brightness up button. Normally on the F keys or arrow keys

    my laptop does that also. if you have a video control panel, like Catalyst, that gives you many extended options that might have it in it. Also, my laptop has power management options in the BIOS menu, try looking in there if you didn't
