of course we should help them more.

My vote: Yes, we should, because we will be elderly someday too!

 

I really dont care cause im selfish....

 

I think they should get treated right but whatever, I am nice to my grandparents and I have respect for them.

 

i perosnlly think we care enough but we could do more. such as going and visiting them once in a while cause around here theres and old folks home and some of the patents havent even seen there grandkids even though they only live about 20 min away. its jsut a bunch of little stuff liek that that could help not be depressed

we should care for elderly people b/c of our respect for thier lives and acomplishments. they built the world over the course of thier lives, and even tho it is our turn to do the building, we should honor them for what they did. i dont believe the government should help the elderly more, i think WE should. problem is people are all cought up in some uber version of social darwinism and dont give half a thought for the elderly which made the world they live in. people just dont have what they used to; chivalry, respect, honor, courage, loyalty.......we are shadows of what we once were, and we can see that by looking at our grandparents.

Actually we should, everyone must have at least done something in their generation to bring forth ours.
