Are you talking about uploading HTML files?

If so then does freewebs give you an FTP account?

If so you need to use an FTP client, type in url, name, pass and just hit logon.

If not then they should have some sort of HTTP upload.

If you're asking about actually writing HTML. Then we're not really much of a "computer nerd" now are we. ;P

http://www.w3schools.com or, more perferable, a book

About making an HTML template, you'd probably be better off using Photoshop's slice tool.

Not really, but what you can do is limited.

Just use the slice tool and draw boxes around the various sections of the page. IE: links and content areas

You can probably search for some more in-depth articles.

Really depends on how you want to make it. if you want to make it a very obvious (look what I made in photoshop" and didnt code professionally deal, its not too hard. If you want it well coded for expansion and such, css styles ect, then it takes a lttle experience.

Edit: Imperial beat me to it :P

The only thing that's hard I would say is the coding part.

you got a deadline on this site for your relatives? i hope not, might take you a bit of time to learn html (or whatever form of html you want to use), comprise a template, and make images for the whole thing. your aunt and uncle should just buy a nice template IMO (no offense to your learning capabilities, just would save some hassle)

ah ok. thats not to hard. once the template is made tho, your relatives got scripts (php, or something like that) ready to use, or are you just gonna do plain html>?

If you code it with iframes and HTML from 10 years ago yes, its easy.

If you want to start adding CSS and PHP, then it can take a little time, depending on how efficient you are.
