No it doesn't. at least not to me. if i hear someone say "tag" the first thing that crosses my mind is "n00b". It's the same as with render. we call a render a render, so just let it be. No need for countless of other synonyms. Sig or Signature is the best. that's why it's called Sig-space or Signature-space...
First of all, you guys don't understand ----. Signature was there first, but never meant to be of what you call "sig". Signature or also called sig is a space where you put your signature (Which refer to your "identity" if Ic an call it that way (ie. infos, images, other things)). Tags are what you PUT IN YOUR SIGNATURE SPACE which is your sig A signature(sig) is what you see everytikme you post and what ever you do, its always there saying that you made the post, unless you take it off. Tags are your signature filler. Its kinda hard to explain, but we dont use the right term for the right thing.
The way people refer to signatures as "tags" buggs me a hell of a lot for some reason....it is rather lame....>.>
sig siggy signiture tag taggy? tagniture? i like variety so i'll allways call em' sigs. it just sounds much better to my ears.
