Noob Question

ok, ive been working with photoshop for a really long time, but i could never get this, when you add color balance layers, is there anyway to just add it to what u brushed/or w.e u did insted of applying it to the whole canvas?

i think you can cut part of the layer out once you add it, hmm im not sure, good question =)

nevermind i got it now...i figured it out

 

What was it that you did to figure it out?

 

you hit ctrl and click inside the layer pallete thing on that layer...then you do a color balance layer and it works

 

make more layers

its all about the layers

 

new layers shouldnt make a diff should it? i thought dominant was right lol

 

all you have to do is brush in white... then color balane layer on top of it, and when you are satisfied with the color of the brushing, hit cntrl+E and merge the two layers...

 

I just mask it or select a certain part of it first using the lasso tool.. :lol:
