With the new release of IE7 (Internet Explorer 7) in the upcoming Windows Vista Microsoft will no longer intergrate IE into the Windows OS. With more than enough attacks from a large ammount of hacking and coding communites plenty of exploits were found in IE and used to attack the OS since it was intergrated directly into the Windows core. Security analysts stated that removing IE from the core of the Windows OS will improve overall security of the OS.

it doesnt make a dang difference. IE sucks. It has sucked and it will always suck forever. It runs on a crappy web engine, it has low features, low customizablity, IS NOT OPEN-SOURCE, and looks like crap. Not to mention that development and Microsoft help is so slow. And Im not talking from a Firefox fanboy or w.e I use IE too but only when some websites arent compatible with my Firefox, Opera, or Netscape. But Id pick FF over IE anyday. And I always will.

    IMO i think its great.
Whether you use it or not, IE is still directly intergrated into the core of your OS and that can be easily taken advantage of.

They're not putting it in because of a legal battle with the EU over the integration of WMP into Windows. As a result they lost millions and had to release a 'Euro' version of Windows XP.

nice to know that windows is publicly accepting their suckyness :P. UK Dell's already jumped on the bandwagon, which ship with Firefox installed rather then IE.
