Well, I decided to get VS so I did all the steps in the topic about DUI's

Then now, I click on the SV I downloaded, in Resourses>Themes. I clicked on it, there was no additonal theme...

What did I do wrong? I been playing around with the uxtheme, carefuly of coruse, and tried 2 ways. Still didn't work

And yes. I did reboot lol.

I went to look for Uxtheme on C:Windows/system32 whatever. It wasnt there. So I found a folder called "I836" and all these files are in it. So I found UXTHEME. But it wasn't a DLL file, it was a DL
    Heres the pic: http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/6905/help0gq.png
=\ This is all too weird.

Please post ideas. I'd really need them...

    Santa, shut up!

in desktop properties, you select your theme from the Apperance tab, not the themes tab

ok, DL replacer EXE and a proper working uxtheme file

navigte to the odl one drag it into replacer, then confirm, place the new one, then reboot.

after that, DL a theme from say deviantart.com and place it anywhere(though preferably in the windows theme directory.) click on the theme file and it should automatically open the appearence tab, do w/e and you're set.
