the revolution is probaly the only on ethat counts as a next gen console seems there are doing something different from just improving the graphics, and i f'ckin love the concept of the controller its just cool especailly the cooking game, lol

Well, I'll probably get one. But I'm afraid a lot of 3rd party developers will ditch Nintendo if they don't have equal power to Xbox360 and Ps3.
Inovation is cool and all, but why can't it be accompanied by killer specs ? =(

Because than it would cost alot of money, and I am not about to spend 500+ dollers just to play games. I dought any sain person would.

Don't wory about Nintendo geting low 3rd party support because if anything more developers would want to make games for the revoluting because of the low cost it would take to make games for it.

nintendo has i believe the most non-3rd party franchises if im correct

mario, legend of zelda, metroid prime, donkey kong are all at the moment stable franchises that hold a lot of reputation in them

I'll be getting one for sure, my first next gen console :D

It seems that the revolution is set to do better than the cube coz i've heard a lot of ppl will be saying they'll get it as a 2nd console next to their 360/ps3....but i guess time will tell of course

I don't know about that. In my opinion, the DS is suffering the same problem. They just keep developing GBA games and when a game makes it to the DS it's some point & click, or collection of minigames. Some exeptions are Metroid and Rogue Agent, but that's just more of the same... If some third party developer creates this great game for Xbox360 or Ps3, what is the chance it will get ported to the revolution if it can't handle it whitout them slaughtering the game. And how will it look when they do ? I'll buy a revo, but only if it has some top titles appart from Mario Game n° 546875354 and more Zelda, and more Pokémon. I have nothing against the so called "kiddy" games. But seriously, things like a cartoony 3D Waluigi make me want to throw up

it would be smart of nintendo if they released a normal controller as well so that games from companies like EA could be on each console without having to change too much. but still have teh revo controller as the main controller

It will have that it is called the"shell"

Basicly you will be able to put the revloution controller inside a wavebird shell so poting games to the revolution will be easy.

Here is a picture of what people think it will look like:

Looks like its going to be very promising.

With the best of Nintendo games.

The remote controller kind of threw me off, but since they have that shell thing.
