    1) Yes it is a dvd burner
    2) No you dont need 2 cd drives
    3) Yes you can. ;)

    1. Rented Movies are made so you can't copy them LEGALY.

    2. No, you don't need two drives. Certain programs allow you to copy the file then burn it.

    that first one on the link Xmaster provided is the one i have. get it if you have a black case.

    many newer or popular moives encrypt there movies to no end. some dont. use dvd-shrink record/burn the movies.

    yep. Shrink or decryptor will do it. I never tried a rented one, i just borrowed it from the library ;)

    thanks for the info..so there is no way possible to copy rented movies?? I mean at all...? ;( Also one more thing..my comp drive is DVD+Rewriteable and R/RW could that be used as a burner?

    um, did you read my post at all?
    some do, some dont. for example, recently i tried copying Stealth and it gave me all this encryption bull----, so i was like the hell with it. but then like a week later, i successfully copied Lord of War.

    Dude try newegg. They have a lot more dvdburners and are less expensive. If you look at Newegg, I recommend the NEC 3550A (the OEM one, it's the cheaper them the retial version, but there isn't anything different in hardware ;) ). And if you can find the NEC 4550 somewhere else (couldn't find it at newegg) go for that one. ;)

    wow kid, you need to start reading all the posts before posting. we have already stated he shoud use newegg and what model(s) to get.

    use the cd burner that come with the computer and use a pplaystation 2 to play it


    its wat i do
