Here are some tips i think might help with makin good sigs. most of these work well for me Try to be in an appropriate mood - if making a game sig, maybe play the game for while before hadn - making a band sig, try to listen to that band - someimes, you need to be in the mood, when im not my stuff looks bad. - try to have an apporiate atmosphere, for a dark sig, maybe dim the light( i havent tried this), or listen to scary music or something. Renders YOU NEED GOOD RENDERS! if you dont have a good render, it probably wont look any better in your sig, unless your holy. make sure its blended well, not too much/too little. its hard to do good when you have a bad render. Brushes these are also very useful. sigsource.com has some really good links to really good brushes, you just have to look. try using brushes apporpriate to your sig. also, maube make your own brushes. go too good-tutorials.com for that. if you make your own, you can get anything you want. Text also a key point. dafont.com is what i use. lots of good fonts. make sure this is apporpriate to your sig, the color and effects as well. sometimes its hard, but lifes not easy. well, these are just some tips, this wasnt a true tutorial ,but i think it will help, a little. basically, you need the right tools beforee you begin. yeah... thats all. if i think of anything else, ill probaly post up. you can cred or rep if you want, but im not asking for anything. if this helped, im glad.

good call. I definitely like the part about getting inspiration from whatever u are makin the sig about... like listen to the band or playing the game. Not only makes it funner but usually sigs come out more unique and better. Great tips
Dude noice tips m8. I knew most of the stuff but it will help a begginer ALOT. I totally agree with the moods and everything you have to get a feel for the signature not create it outta boardism or not knowing any thing. GJ
