Put superior runes on all your items, it - your health and you'll get 55 in the end :)

You need a -50 focus item (they run about 7.5-10K, used to be available via quests).

Use full ascetics, make sure you have atleast 1 superior rune of every monk branch possible, fill the last one with whatever. You will end up with 55 health. Try to find an item you can modify that is one handed, most often a sword and the most unique is the HoD sword (gives energy bonus) and put an enchantment +20% mod on it.

    Skills:
    - Balthazar's Spirit
    - Essence Bond
    - Blessed Aura
    - Mending
    - Protective Spirit
    - Blessed Signet
    - Shield Of Judgement
    - Healing Breeze

*Note - This build can no longer do UW runs... monkies will interrupt and slaughter you

    - Cast the first 4 enchantments before the fight. You will have 0 pips of energy regeneration, so use Blessed Signet to regain energy out of combat.
    - Before aggroing mobs, cast Protective Spirit. With 4 pips health regeneration from Mending, you should not need Healing Breeze until you round up all foes and they are all hitting you at the same time.
    - The energy gained from Essence Bond and Balthazar's Spirit should be more than enough for all situations.
    - Blessed Aura and your weapon of Enchanting will prolong your Shield of Judgment, which is your sole offensive spell.
    - The build is most successful against melee attackers and is least productive against spell casters. To use it for farming, find an area with a heavy concentration of melee attackers (such as the Mountain Trolls in Talus Chute or the Blessed Griffons in Snake Dance) and take them on.

    Continue casting, etc.

Very nice site, never knew about it, thanks :D

As for the 55 hp monk, did they make new monks or something so that you can't solo??

The -50 HP item is still available via quests, I got another one last night.
Also, if you want to buy it, it's only around 4k now in most places, 6k at the most.

Check the forums on GuildWarsGuru and go to the campfire section, there are tons of 55 HP monk builds, and there are quite a few that still work with soloing UW.

You might want to note that there are only 4 monk runes, and since I saw no one clarify this, I will, you buy 1 of each, and then usually buy the cheapest monk superior runes a SECOND time, the stat bonus will not stack, but the -75 HP will.

If you do UW runs, it is HIGHLY recommended you take a GOOD monk smiting staff/rod for when the phantom guys pop up, as they still strip your enchantments and you WILL die, they die within a few hits from a max smiting rod/staff.

Guildwarsguru should be all the help you need, for anything related to GW.

It's a quite simple concept, all you do is get a nice build for where you want to farm, then go out and kill everything in the area and collect your drops. 55'n is the best, but I don't like 55'n with monks alot, I usually use my necro for it :D

those videos are nothing if you ever saw the pre-patched AoE UW runs.

I used to do those... its a wonderful thing when you get 20 level 28+ creatures around you and they all drop simultaneously... almost brings tears to me eyes... especially when you get 1-2 ectos and lots of rares. STUPID NERF, STUPID, STUPID NERF!

Amen to that, the nerf pissed me off, I would have stopped playing after it, but I was quick to find some new working builds :D
