can you download cpu-z and take a screenshot of the first tab and the mainboard tab. Also you may not be able to take ram from your old pc, it may be different. whats your budget.
Ok, ill look on the RAM manufacturers site later and see if i can use in this comp Hmm my budget, It depends on how much i get for the next Sale i have, so its 500 or less i think First http://ho5t.us/uploads/c9946596f7.png Mainboard http://ho5t.us/uploads/40f3e39cf4.png Seems to be mostly A Graphics Card i need, Does Newegg deliver to the Uk btw? EDIT: Just a little question why does 2 Processors Running - Genuine IntelĀ® CPU 3.06GHz mean?, do i have 2 CPU's?
get a new motherboard, proc and ram. Rambus is overpriced. what is your budget? for 300$ I'd say: go to fry's get the 80$ sempron 2600+mobo combo, then online get a gig of DDR400 ram, and get an x800GTO PCI-e trust me, that P4 is crap only has SSE1, uses EXPENSIVE RAM which must be used in pairs, isn't very expandable etc. you'de need a new motherboard to use a new GFX card and that P4 wouldn't work on any new mobos. =========================== EDIT: WTF? ignore that, is your comp running at 3.06 ghz or 1.6. there are three diferent possibilities, williamette, northwood, and prescott.
i Dont know, I think its 3.06, it was my uncle that made it and hes on holiday so..... Dont know how to find out either
underclocking is where you run it below it's stock value. I wouldn't call it bad or anything as it's undoable, but it's best to run at the recomended value or higher. as for running CPUz... google is your friend. http://www.google.com/search?q=cpuz&start=0
were it says its running at 1599 MHz? Well if u look a little furter down theres an Arrow at CPU#1 that goes to CPU#1 (Logical Unit), Maybe its 3.06 with both of them, since that screen only shows doesnt it
