Right, I was just saying that since he has a suggested price range.

As far as him wanting a card in that price range and it being outdated soon - sure maybe. But the nvidia TI4200 - 4600 cards have held up and surpassed some of the newer GeFroce cards in some of the newer games. So it won't necessarily be outdated.

well, considering that now all games are switching to new engines, i expect it will, the only reason the GeForce 4's have held up is because most games till now are still all running the same engines they were designed for.

    e.g. MOH:AA - running Q3 engine, COD - Running Q3 Engine

Now u see wat im getting at?

Understood. But as much as games are changing, how fast that happens remains to be seen.

I agree, you can also get drivers from omegadrivers.net that will safely overclock a cheapo 9800SE to an XT.

6600GT, Hands down best budget card.

its benchmark it topples over the Radeon 9800 PRO.

"Incorrect, Doom3 at high detail with 8xAA and 8xAF and at a resolution of 1600x1200 actually requires 512mb of graphics power. Therefore the only card(s) that can power it are the dual 6800 Ultras or GT's, at those settings at least"

Where are u getting those facts....
