How do we know you are really a girl? You are probably a 50 year old dude that wants us guys to ponder over you.

I've posted a picture of myself, if so you wish to hunt it down.

And I'd rather I didn't have guys think I'm so cool or hot because I'm bi. That's just stupid, really. But unfortunately I have yet to learn mind control...yet at the same time I'm not going to try to change who I am or pretend to be something I'm not to escape the unwanted attention.

I am a straight 16 year old male.

I'm really tired of going through school and hearing people talk about others just because of their sexual orientation and preferences. Let the person be whoever the hell they want to be. It is their right and no one has any reason to make fun or talk about them.

Let them be. They are another person just like you. Regardless their sexual preference, they deserve respect and you should give it to them.

    Yes

I agree, I have ALOT of bi/gay friends, they are no different to us. Just let them be/do what they want to do, it is their life not ours. A very close friend of mine got bullied when i was in school, he constantly got called because of his sexuality and i dont think that is right. As always i had to get involved as this was hurting him ALOT and i could not just stand there and listen to the ---- they said to him.

I am straight myself (even though i have kissed other girls, lol)

Same here - a LOT of people in my group of friends are gay/bi, and there were a lot of people in my high school who were as well, and we got so much crap from people who were just idiots about it. It's stupid. Why do people care so much about people's sexual orientation? It doesn't effect them, so why the dislike? I think it's so silly when I see people say stuff like "I'm scared of gays" or "if a gay person ever hit on me I'd kick their ass". Hello, even if I were straight I would still be totally flattered if a girl told me I was hot. Not to mention the hypocrisy about it - there are so many guys who think that homosexuality is disgusting but think it incredibly hot to see two girls going at it. Um, hello?

People need to be more openminded - the world would be a much better place.

@Girly - OMG a girl on the internet! What a freaking concept! seriously, some people....I swear, us girls get no recognition on this site, I think most people on here think that if someone's good at graphics they MUST be a guy.

Whoa, I can't believe this even made it on the forum and was kept alive. Personaly I'm straight but I KNOW that someone repeatedly stating that a different sexual preferance is "the right way" would not alter my mindset. People are who they are and if they believe in they way that they are then they will not be swayed by the letters printed across a screen.
    Does that make any sence?

At this point I think I have to disagree with you. Many female artists get recognition on this site. Girly and kirbir especially.

I'll be honest and say they're the only two I see get a lot of recognition on here. Of course I think they're both great people and deserve it ♥

I have a decidedly feminine name, sig style, even have it IN my sig that I'm a girl, my user title says "Princess Alana" (Alana being my real name) and people still don't seem to get that I am a girl.

    @xZerox - makes perfect sense.

IMO, it's mroe the anonymity of it all. people can't see anything leading them to believe your'e a girl, aside from the labled "girly" things, which if you think about it, aren't much of an indication anyway (i'm a guy and i have at least one shirt i wear frequently that's fuscia, and some people laugh, but at least i'm secure enough in my sexuality to do it)
and most people are just used to the whole stereotype "guys like video games, they must be the ones online!!"
    ..
    but w/e.
i, personally, if i don't specify my gender, am called a girl a lot. i'm not sure why
