Closing Topic Without Leaving Reasons

Its becoming more annoying these days. If mods don't leave the reason, more people will just coming up with the same thread only. Please leave a reason.

 

a lot of the time topics are closed due to their titles alone. If you have something named like, "leaving GR" it demands a closing as its specifically stated in the rules its not allowed.

It would take a lot more time for the moderators to go into each topic they close and state a reason for doing so when they can easily just close the topics from the forum view mode.

Altho, i must agree it is getting pretty annoying that everytime a legitimate topic is closed we ahve to come here for answers and sometimes the topic is even unlocked because the mod failed to actually read the topic instead of just close it from the forum view.

 

9 times out of 10 i close with a reason but thats just me

Your quesions are like vague. Plus just contact admin and get direct help.

 

i dont always post when i close a topic im guilty of that
but sometimes it dosent need a reason
if people read the rules its pretty self explaintery

 

I agree alot with this i see it alot always gives me a big ?....but then again everything to me is just a big ?

 

A lot of topics are just full of crap and are quite obvious that its against the rules, i.e. favourite topics... people still tend to post a lot of those in the general discussion forums. The next type of thread would be "leaving GR and blah blah blah".

Only a handful would require reasons to close them, but at the moment I haven't really seen any that aren't self explanatory.

 

If topics are closed then they are closed for a reason. If they have no message left at the end then read the topic and you'll probably be able to see why the topic was closed.

Don't forget if a donator opened the topic, they have the ability to close the topic whenever they want.
