Having Probs With Ps

man .. ive tried alot of tuts in my day... and ive never been able to complete the ones that involve smuding... when i take out my smudging tool and go to brush dynamics.. it wont let me alter anything except the first setting and "other dynamics" what do i have to do...? (its something obvious i just know it is)

 

right click on that and click "Reset All Tools"

 

I don't know if this the problem but you can't scatter in PS 7.

I know the feeling. I can't use CS either. Beleive me i've tried.

 

you need to update lots man... at least go up to 2000, XP if it can handle it. lowest you can go is around 700mhz for XP.
