So I just recently got my PC reformatted and I'd like to get a new firewall (Norton is rubbish). My only requests are that it's good and free.

    ZoneAlarm, protective and free.

It's very good, before I reformatted I had Norton and it leaked a lot of crap onto my computer but ZA doesn't so ya, a lot better than Norton :P

I use Sygate Personal Firewall. I have the last version before they were bought out by Symantec. PM me if you want it.

one that's not free, but relatively cheap, is EZ Armor. installed in on my friend's computer, he got it in a bundle with his computer. It's really good, even has strong parential controls for his kids, so they don't go you know where.

I use PC-Cillin's Firewall. And there's always your Windows XP Firewall.

I installed Zone alarm. It's really annoying, it doesn't allow me to go onto the shared folders of other computers in my network.

EDIT: I think I'll just stick with my routers firewall and Windows firewall
