Right now I'm using FireFox because my Netscape died. It happened when my Internet went out for a day (damn SBC). Anyways, now whenever I try opening ANYTHING that has Netscape in it, it says: Netscpe.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log has been created. Someone please help!
that's almost as bad as IE, toss it, Fx (Firefox) or even Opera would be better. Opera would be a good switch, as it looks and works similar to Netscape.. But if you will not turn away from it, try uninstalling it, then reinstalling. could be a virus/spyware as well, check for that...
netscape and firefox use more or less the same engine. There is no real diference except FF is more customizeabel and up to date. FYI, the latest version of netscape uses FF's engine most of the time.
Try reinstalling it. Netscape use's the firefox engine. So Firefox and netscape are almost the same, except firefox has more skins and extensions.
Netscape and Firefox used to be the same, but when AOL bought out netscape, the browser was split with mozilla. Technically they are equally as old if you want to get on a technical basis.
