Things have started happening on my comp, Its starting to turn self off again to BSOD, The Add Or Remove Programs is ----ed, Nothing will unistall
and ive noticed in Program Files things are starting to duplicate, (Like a game from Stratagey First, Was in there 3 times, even though i know ive only installed once)

So i need a way to Find the virus or what ever and kill it, I Have Zone Alarm But i dont think i can find from using that

Is there any good free tools? Perferably fast download so my comp wont turn of half way in the download

Out that sucks.... Use Norton... Vshield, anything that is popular. Also, I think that Stopzilla is good.

if you can, i would rather consider reformatting, AS A LAST RESORT

if none of our suggestions work..

and Default, Norton sucks my balls, that would not be a good suggestion..

Norton pretty much suck. It is helluva pain in the ass because it take such a big space, isn't effecient and sometimes your serial expires before its time.

Norton is a horrible program for antivirus. I would suggest you downloading something liek ZoneAlarms if your the happy everyday pirate.

    thanks for the acknowladgement...

had it on my compter, running Win98, it was ----ty, and we were on dialup at that time... looooooong download... hated paying 50 buks a year...

I would rather use Avast, AVG, or Nod32, used them all, all are good.

And, actually, Symantec Corporate v10 is pretty good, we have it where i work, they only put it on the company's computers. we refurbish old computers, put Avast on every single computer we sell.

Try stinger (direct download). It's 1.1 MB and a dedicated virus scanner from McAfee. Also Norton is rubbish, when I reformated it changed the File allocation system.

I Always Reformat lol, 8 Times in 3 years, May just be my comp waring out, ill be getting a new one soon anyway now,

Im Starting to think its a Curropt file or something, maybe an Unsigned driver, i had same prob before my last reformat a few weeek ago, now its restarting at its own free will now, Just after showing me the Blue Screen of death,

System Restore didnt fix and is now turned of so...., is there anything i can do to remove an unsigned driver? since the restore points are all gone

If you know what driver it is you can rollback the driver. Or you could check Windows Updates for updates to the driver.
