    I saw Equilibrium.
It was awesome, somewhat predictable at times, and I also couldn't see how the main character killed all those freaking troops moving so slow like that. If it had been me or people who paintball behind those soldier masks, he would have been owned. But otherwise amazing fights. I loved the last one, where they play dodge with the guns.

But it was a great story, but does not hold a candle to the matrix, as already stated.

The Matrix had a much more original, though-provoking theme. To think that all your memories, all the things you were feeling and seeing where all fake, and that robots are havesting you for energy in a dead world.

Equilibrium was much like 1984 the book but with ass kicking stuck in. In the book humans are taught to suppress, and have to suppress if they want to survive, emotions. Watched constantly, and if you think revolution, you will be caught eventually. Equilibrium shares many similarites to other movies, and 1984. If you've read it you know what I mean.

Especially the son spying on his dad and knowing he's revolting, thats a major concept in 1984. The children in the book are taught to love their parents, but be loyal to The Party and many children turn in their parents for "thought-crime", which could easily be compared to 'emotion-crime'.

Yeah, I saw it when it first came out, pretty good movie, the story was good considering it's an action movie, and the action (I wish there was more) was great, I still don't know why people kept on trying to compare it to the Matrix movies though (Both are so different )

I've only seem part of it myself. Looked cool, but can't compare it to The Matrix having not watched the whole thing.
