    well here is a right stupid question

    on those video tutorials,people are basically filming there actions on their computer.I just wanted to know how to do that?I'm guessing i need some sort of software program,if so what software is it that i need

    Camtasia or another desktop recording software.

    i tried downloading a trial version of camtasia and my computer restarted all by itself and i lost the download :( any other programs?

    FRAPS is good, but you have to pay if you want to be able to record movies longer than 30 seconds.

    OMG!!!

    the same thing happened again i download it and when i go to run it my computer restarts :( .I'll try them later on the laptop and see what happens

    What type of computer do you have? Compaq, e machines, hp, custom.... I use a custom computer and never get a problem.

    Solution: Windows may be overloading and when the memory fill up it restarts, so you might have to get more ram or something.
    Linux: Linux never restarts when it overloads, it is confusing though because you have to learn all of the commands and most software and games are not meant for it.

    thanks for the tip,i just downloaded some new stuff and it's happening again.I'm still learning stuff with computers but i'm guessing i need to buy some new ram or something :unsure:

    oh and on your question about what computer do i have,well it's made by a company called time although i was never with my parents when they got it so i can't tell you a lot
